Return Policy


We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please review the policy below carefully, as return eligibility varies by item condition.

1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns for eligible items under the following conditions:

  • The item must be returned within 14 days of delivery

  • The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging

  • Proof of purchase is required

Due to the nature of physical media, opened or used records are not eligible for return unless they are defective.


2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Opened or used records

  • Items marked as final sale or limited edition

  • Gift cards

  • Items damaged due to improper handling after delivery


3. Defective or Damaged Items

If your item arrives defective or damaged, please contact us within [7] days of delivery.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please include:

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Photos of the item and packaging (if applicable)

If the issue is confirmed, we will offer a replacement or refund at our discretion.


4. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  2. If approved, you will receive return instructions

  3. Ship the item back following the provided guidance

Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.


5. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method

  • Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error


6. Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for lost return shipments


7. Exchanges

We accept exchanges in-store on eligible items within 14 days of purchase. If you'd like to swap your record for something different, just reach out to us at customersupport@recordsonmain.com with your order number. We'll work with you to find the right replacement and get you back to spinning something you'll love.
